Real Gym
The Landstuhl CrossFit and Combatives Facility (LCCF) is located at Bldg #3714 on Munson Circle, inside Landstuhl Regional Medical Command Installation in Germany.
All trainers at the LCCF are volunteers. We support military active duty members, their families, and civilians employed in direct support of military active duty members through our cost-free strength training program, combatives training program, and our promotion of balanced, nutritional eating habits.
We run multiple introductory “Basics Classes” per month and facilitate workouts in the morning and afternoon, Monday through Friday. At least one (and up to three) certified trainers will be present throughout scheduled workout times to assist with proper form and participant safety.
Folks who are new to CrossFit and to LCCF have to attend a series of Basics Classes, where they learn how to do proper Air Squats, Dips, Overhead Press, Push-Press, Push-Jerk, Overhead Squats, Knees-to-Elbows, Front Squats, Pull-Ups, Dead Lift, Cleans, Wall Ball, Snatches, Kettle Bells, and Slam Ball. These fundamental movements or their easy-to-successively-learn derivatives appear often in our daily workouts. All 8 Basics Classes must be attended and successfully completed before new personnel may freely attend and conduct LCCF Daily Workout Sessions, but Basics Classes are not required to be attended consecutively. Newcomers may start attending on any Skill Day – just show up on time! Classes start promptly at 0500 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
